Volunteer Caregiving

Errand Services

Our Errand Service is available for older adults who cannot shop independently and would like a volunteer to accompany them to shop or run errands at a wide range of local stores including but not limited to: Grocery and Drug Stores, Hardware, Homegoods and Craft Stores, Post Office and many more.

If needed, volunteers can shop and run errands for those who are unable to leave their home at all due to illness, frailty or other reasons.

Independent Living Services

Our volunteers cannot provide help with housekeeping or personal care. However, you may be eligible to receive these services at no cost or subsidized rates from other agencies if you meet certain low income thresholds. Please call our office and ask for Robbie if you need these services and you believe you may qualify.

Faith in Action volunteers can provide limited services to help you age in place with greater confidence. Preference is given to lower income seniors without family available.
